Timber Truss Assembly For
a Quality Finish

Assembling Timber Trusses for a Quality Finish

At Heyden Frame & Truss, we pride ourselves on producing high-quality timber trusses that are built to last. From design to construction, we ensure that every truss meets the highest standards of quality and durability.

Designing the Truss

The first step in the timber truss assembly process is the design phase. Our team of experienced engineers will work with you to determine the best truss design for your project, taking into account factors such as the size and shape of the building, the load-bearing requirements, and any specific aesthetic or functional needs.

Once the design is finalized, we will create detailed drawings and specifications for the truss, including all of the necessary measurements and specifications for the individual components. This ensures that every truss is built to exacting standards and will fit perfectly into your project.

Cutting and Prepping the Components

Once the design is complete, the next step is to cut and prep the individual components of the truss. This includes cutting the timber to the correct size and shape, as well as drilling any necessary holes for connectors or other hardware. All of our timber is sourced from sustainable, high-quality sources, ensuring that every truss is built to last.

Assembling the Truss

With all of the components cut and prepped, it’s time to start assembling the truss. This is typically done by first attaching the bottom chords (the horizontal beams that run along the bottom of the truss) to the top chords (the horizontal beams that run along the top of the truss). The truss is then completed by adding the vertical members (called webs) and any necessary connectors or hardware.

During the assembly process, our team pays careful attention to every detail, ensuring that every joint is properly aligned and tightened, and that all components are securely fastened in place. This attention to detail is critical to ensuring that the truss is strong and durable, and will be able to support the loads it is designed to bear.

Inspection and Quality Control

Once the truss is assembled, it undergoes a thorough inspection to ensure that it meets all of our high quality standards. This includes checking all of the joints and connections to make sure they are properly aligned and tightened, as well as verifying that all of the timber is straight and free of defects.

If the truss passes inspection, it is then ready to be shipped to the construction site, where it will be installed by our team of experienced professionals.
